“WastePe” is the brand name of WastePe India Pvt. Ltd, is operating a technology platform to facilitate sale, purchase or donation of various types of waste through its business associates for the channelization of waste on mutually agreed commercial terms between the buyer and seller. This service is provided by WastePe India Private Limited is intended for use as is basis.

 WastePe understands the importance of privacy and also the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information. Our Privacy Policy is applied to all the products and services which are being provided by us, and also sets out how we may collect, disclose and use the personal information (name, address, localization, etc.) of Users. Users may use our services or products via (i) Mobile Application available in Android & IOS ; (ii) Website;(iii) by calling the Customer Support Team(iv) Whatsapp Bot (all hereinafter together or separately referred to as the “Medium”). By using our medium, you hereby consent to our Privacy policy and agree to its terms and conditions.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

1. Your privacy is important to us and we take appropriate steps to ensure that we do not collect more information from you than is necessary for you to utilize our services and to protect your account.

2. We may collect your personal information at the time of registration like; name, address, mobile number, account number, IFSC code, bank name , branch name and also the location of User on the medium, any information mandatory as per laws and/or any other information necessary to provide services to you.

3. We record & maintain the activities which are being performed by the Users on the Medium.

4. During the registration Users need to provide the mandatory information in certain categories like- business data (registration information, account information, etc.) or personal data (name, contact number, address, police verification etc. If User does not provide all the mandatory information, the User may not be able to complete the process of registration and avail our services.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data /information provided by the User in the medium amounts to the User granting us rights to use their information for following purposes:

1. Verifying the identity and Location of Users;

2. Verifying the eligibility to register as a User on the medium and upon being eligible to access the medium;

3. WastePe may share your identifiable personal info with the authorized employees, Waste vendors, etc to facilitate the Waste pick up course of action for our Users.

4. WastePe may share the User’s profile and location with the authorized Waste pickup vendors as per the requirements of WastePe.

5. In case of transactions related to buy or sell of your Waste, then the transfer of User’s identifiable information is required to facilitate the transaction. Transfer of exchanges in any form can also lead to allocation of User’s personal details, if mandatory.

6. Third party members are those, who are involved in the midst of our Waste buy & sell solution. These may include individuals from the team of advertisers, merchants, vendors, Business associates, partners & others for future purpose. Your data may be shared with the third party members, who work on behalf of WastePe operational solutions. The third parties are in different non-disclosed terms & conditions with the WastePe according to a personal agreement.

7. We may use your name, phone number, residential address and email address (all marketing data) to provide notices, surveys, product alerts, communications and other marketing materials to you relating to goods and services which are offered by us on the medium. By clicking on the opt-in mechanism in the checkbox you give us your consent for usage of your personal data and if you don’t want to provide us your personal data you can click upon opt-out mechanism in which you can withdraw your consent.

Location Data collected by WastePe in case of Waste Partners.

In case you are a Vendor registered with WastePe and participating in providing pickup service on our behalf, then WastePe keeps a track of your location for the duration when WastePe Vendor App app is installed in your phone. This is a critical information required by our system to ensure continuity of our on-demand and location agnostic service. We ensure that this data is not disclosed to any third party and is solely used by our algorithms to determine your availability for pickup.

8.You may opt out of WastePe platform by sending mail on info@wastepe.com and we will remove your data from our data base within 1 year.

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

The medium and its contents are not targeted to minors (those under the age of 18) and we do not intend to sell any of our products or services to minors. Cancellation Policy for Pickups

Accepting or cancelling the scrap pick up service depends upon whether the services are approachable to the User or not and whether the assigned person is picking up the scrap from the location which is accessible. The WastePe has its rights in which they can accept or refuse the request initiated by the seller. A seller can also start the request or cancel the request as per their requirements and for this no charges will be applicable. Once the assigned person reaches to the location then User seller cannot cancel the request. As per the Indian laws illegal trades or activities are not allowed, if any activity takes place then the strict action can be taken as per the court of law.

2. WastePe never asks you for your personal information through e-mail so ignore all those suspicious mails and do not click on the links which are present over that mail and also do not open the file which is attached with mails.

User Security

1. User should create a strong password- use minimum 6 characters by using numbers and special characters which makes the password stronger. We recommend you to update or change the password regularly and periodically.

2. Protect your system-: If User has entered the password in malicious website then immediately go to Change Password and change your password. Do not let your system available in public domain with login into the website.

3. Use Supported browser for providing a great selling experience we periodically update our website security certificates based on SSL standards.
